Examining how financial flows, instruments, and institutions can mobilise capital for climate action — particularly in the context of Nigeria and West Africa's unique economic and environmental challenges.

Investigating the role of institutions, policy frameworks, and regulatory mechanisms in ensuring effective and equitable climate governance across different scales and sectors.

Ecological Macroeconomics

Exploring macroeconomic frameworks that integrate environmental limits and ecological sustainability, challenging conventional growth paradigms in light of climate imperatives.

Climate-Aligned Development

Understanding pathways for development that address poverty, inequality, and human wellbeing while advancing climate resilience and low-carbon transitions in the Global South.

CHASE Climate Justice Network Small Grant

Co-led 'Empowering Change: Bridging Economics, Climate, and Justice in Africa' — an online lecture series with a UEA PhD researcher. Secured funding as project co-lead to bridge economics, climate, and justice in Africa.

Mo Ibrahim Governance for Development in Africa (GDAI) Scholarship

Sole Recipient · £130,000 full funding · London, United Kingdom

Highly competitive full doctoral scholarship covering tuition and living stipend. Selected as sole recipient for the 2023 cohort from a global applicant pool, based on academic merit and potential to contribute to governance and development in Africa.

Co-organised two sessions at AHE Conference 2025: 'Systemic Inequalities emerging from Micro to Macro' and 'From Draft to Publication' (expected 100+ participants). Co-designed the 'Big Problems, New Solutions' policy workshop series on economic policymaking.
